Kim Larsen Performs at TurkFest, Many Velour Jumpsuits and Gold Chains are Worn by Mustachioed Men in Attendance

Okay, I make the same joke every time...but come on! They love their jumpsuits!

My good friend Kim Larsen performed at TurkFest in Seattle this weekend (hit the link and scroll all the way to the bottom). She has previously taught English in Turkey and she currently dates a very intelligent Turkish guy whose last name is translated to something like "Pure Turk", which basically assures everyone that he is Turkish. Could you imagine if your name was Brett AllFrench? Or like Rohan FullyIndianofDescent (right now Rohan's thinking : "hmmm, that would make sense..."). I would be totally okay with it if my name were Andrew Egyptian.

Anyway, Kim performed in a fusion dance group at this TurkFest. I would love to know what all the Turks thought of the modern dance style. But more importantly, I want some shish kabob right now.

On a somewhat-related note, I can't wait to see the Borat movie.
